Response to COVID-19

The safety of my clients and their families is incredibly important.  I am offering a special virtual package to accommodate social distance guidelines and will work with you to make sure the plan fits your needs.

Prenatal Support
  • Two to three virtual "face to face" meetings (more if needed)
  • Unlimited phone communications

Now, more than ever, prenatal support is crucial.  Education and knowledge are the keys to an empowered birth.  I will answer your questions about what to expect, guide you through position practice, and demonstrate to your partner how to provide physical comfort.

Labor and Delivery Support
  • Virtual support at onset of active labor
  • Unlimited phone communications
  • Continued Support until an hour after the birth
  • Lactation support immediately after the birth if needed
  • 24 hour on-call availability beginning at 37 weeks
  • Access to materials helpful during birth, as well as guidance regarding recommended purchases to facilitate comfort

Though I may not be in the room physically, I am able to participate in your birth to whatever degree you need in every other way.  Through continuous communication I can offer support to empower you as you ask questions, understand the process, and navigate each contraction.  Your partner will benefit from tips as to how to assist you in the moment and encourage you with emotional support.

It's expected to have questions about your birth and the early days of having a child.  I am happy to help talk through those details with you so that you can enter this new phase with confidence and the knowledge that you have support.
